One of the most spiritually endearing aspects of Tucson, Arizona is the fact that no matter your religion, you will be able to find people who share your beliefs and with whom you can create a spiritual home. No discussion of houses of worship in Tucson would be complete without mentioning what is universally regarded as the most beautiful Catholic Church in Tucson, and arguably in the entire state of Arizona: the Mission San Xavier del Bac, which is listed as a National Historic Landmark. The church is covered with intricate paintings, statues and murals, which make it well worth a tourist-type visit even for those not intending to worship within its historic walls.
